Uxbridge, MA Director of Director of Grants and Community Enrichment /Teacher Grant position cut due to budget, moved to full time teaching in Fall 2012 2005-2012

After the Superintendent and school committee decided they needed to eliminate the position of Technology Director I was offered this very diverse role. The responsibilities include: Research, write and manage all entitlement and competitive grants for the district. In 2007 I helped secured a $250,000 fire truck for the town. Created and run an after school enrichment program that serves elementary and middle school students all year. Current enrollment is 135 per session. Manage Adult Education and Driver's Education programs Teach two classes per trimester Managed districts Visiting Artist Studios and Childrens Museum (building burnt down that housed these programs in 2008)

Uxbridge, MA Director of Technology Services Technology Director position merged into CFO position, due to budget cuts. 1999-2005

Hands-on manager of four person IS Office supporting the district needs of the approximately 250 staff and 2500 students in the Uxbridge Public Schools. Responsible for the 650 node network running Windows 2000 & 2003 servers and clients with 98 & XP that spans four buildings connected via a coax cable plant. Member of the administrative staff responsible for setting district goals related to technology. Some other responsibilities included: Curriculum and Instruction Leader for technology grades K-8 Curriculum development for technology classrooms and integration projects Development of RFPs for all projects over $5,000 Many Department of Education (DOE) reporting functions including student information management system (SIMS) and the Districts 3-year Technology Plan Developed and manage a successful internship program Developer of Tech Power program including innovative mini-grant and training program
