I currently teach Biology and Anatomy and Physiology to high school sophomores and juniors. I am also the science department head for middle and high school science. My duties are to ensure the proper inquiry methods are being taught in the classroom, reviewing departmental lesson plans, and ordering all science equipment and supplies for the department. I have also developed the curriculum for the middle and high school, and am currently in the process of developing curriculum for grades pre-k through twelfth grade science using the new national frameworks. On top of that I am an advisor to fifteen students with whom I meet with daily and communicate with their parents regularly to ensure a successful academic career.
