Malware Statistics Update

Analyzing 12 months statistics of malware, top 10 malware sites blog are post and it identifies that a large number of sites are compromised since April 2009. Moreover, the number of malware list has doubled in a single year and nearly 40000 web sites were compromised per week. Comparing infection which are associated with two relatively large and well known pieces of mnalicious code named as Gumblar and Martuz , many infected web sites are pointing to hundreds of different domains. Because of this malware growth, the systems are constantly improving better to detect the infected web sites. Users of Google search, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari receive warnings message produced by Safe Browsing API when visiting infected sites which was identified as potentially harmful. Safe Browsing API is an technology that is freely available for webmasters to implement.
