BTS3900E Advantage
The BTS3900E has a highly integrated design, requiring less cable connections and facilitates installation and maintenance. In compliance with the IP65 protection degree, the BTS3900E features strong environment adaptability and has no need for an equipment room. The BTS3900E can share the Distributed Antenna System (DAS) on the existing network. the compact and lightweight BTS3900E has a small number of spare parts, thus greatly reducing the cost of transportation and maintenance.
The various installation options such as wall-mounted, tower-mounted, supportmounted, and pole-mounted are possible with the BTS3900E which can realize quick and flexible site deployment, significantly accelerating network construction.

BTS3900E Advantage
In contrast to conventional indoor coverage solutions, the BTS3900E substantially expands the capacity of the coverage, enhances the traffic absorbing capability. Since it can be installed close to the antenna system, BTS3900E has a high transmission power at the Top of Cabinet. Combined with the flexibility in site deployment, the BTS3900E remarkably improves network coverage.
Thanks to the advanced Multi-Carrier Power Amplifier (MCPA) technology, the BTS3900E can smoothly and quickly change from the coverage mode to the capacity mode, flexibly responding to network requirements at different phases.
The low power consumption design and natural heat dissipation mode allow the
BTS3900E to work in energy saving and mute mode. Green energy such as the solar and wind energy can be fully utilized. The BTS3900E supports the PS service of the GPRS and EDGE and smooth

Support the whole frequency band of PGSM900/EGSM900, high 45MHz frequency band and low 45MHz frequency band of DCS1800MHz. The BTS3900E has only one transmit channel; therefore, it does not support the cross-cell configuration.
The BTS3900E does not provide the receive diversity interconnection interface, that
is, when a cell adopts the configuration of two modules with a single antenna, the receive diversity cannot be implemented.
The BTS3900E can be deployed with the BSC in the star, chain, and ring networking modes (the tree networking mode not supported). In the chain and ring

During the automatic planning progress of the frequency, if several BTS3900Es under one BSC initiate the automatic planning request at the same time, the M2000 controls the request to ensure that only one BTS3900E under a BSC is under processing. That is, the BTS3900Es under the same BSC are processed one by one. BTS3900Es under different
The automatic planning/optimization algorithm is implemented by the M2000. On the BSC or M2000, you can run the related MML commands to configure the switch. After the automatic planning function is enabled, you cannot manually disable and modified the function during the entire automatic planning process. To enable the automatic planning function, the maintenance personnel must configure the parameters (such as the BTS name, CGI, network optimization parameters) on the BSC in advance. (The frequencies and BSIC are automatically configured during the automatic planning process.)
Upon receiving the frequencies and BSIC of the BTS3900E, the BSC delivers all the configuration data related to the BTS3900E to the BTS3900E.

After the BTS3900E enters the normal working state, the M2000 monitors the working frequency periodically through the MS measurement report and the uplink interference band measurement function. By comparing with the configured threshold, the M2000 determines whether the frequency must be replaced.
The configuration delivery stage is the stage in which the configuration takes effect. If the BTS3900E configuration data is complete (the data configuration is completed in the automatic planning stage and the cell frequency and BSIC are configured), the BSC delivers all the data to the BTS3900E.

In the beginning stage of the BTS3900E operation, a single TRX is configured with the transmit power of 30 W. During the BTS3900E operation, the M2000 periodically measures the network traffic. If the M2000 determines that the cell load exceeds the configured threshold, the M2000 delivers a command that requests the BTS3900E to add a TRX, which is configured as TCH TRX. The transmit power of the BCCH is 20 W, and that of the TCH is 10 W. When the BSC determines that the load difference between the inner coverage and outer coverage exceeds the configured threshold, the BSC delivers a command to the BTS3900E to modify the
transmit powers of the BCCH and TCH. Then the BTS3900E modifies the transmit
power of the BCCH to 15 W and that of the TCH to 15 W. In this way, the inner coverage is enlarged and the requirement on capacity is met.

This function solves the coverage and capacity problems that occur when the service traffic increases slowly, but cannot solve the coverage and capacity problems that occur when the service traffic suddenly surges. When the service traffic suddenly surges, you can use the channel all-rate and half-rate conversion to solve the coverage and capacity problems.
After the capacity and coverage automatic optimization algorithm switch is enabled, if the transmit powers of two TRXs are automatically configured to 20 W and 10 W respectively, the concentric function is not required.
If the configuration is changed from one TRX to two TRXs, the configuration of one
TRX cannot be restored. The transmit powers of the two TRXs are automatically configured to 20 W and 10 W respectively or 15 W and 15 W respectively based on the threshold value and actual network conditions.
