RECHARGE BATTERY IF SPECIFIC GRAVITY IS LESS THAN 1.22B OR VARIATION BETWEEN CELLS IS GREATER THAN 0.060 POINTS OR THE OPEN VOLTAGE IS LESS THAN 12.2V NOTE: SLOW CHARGING IS RECMMENDED. REINSPECT THE OPEN VOLTAGE 15 MINS AFTER VOLT COMPLETING CHARGING. V

8) MEASURE ALTERNATOR CHARGING OUTPUT. INSTALL A VOLT METER AND AMP METER AS PER RELEVANT ENGINE REPAIR MANUAL SET ENGINE SPEED TO 2000 RPM SET CURRENT DRAW TO 10 AMPS MAX. MEASURE VOLTAGE AT B+ TERMNAL OF THE ALTERNATOR.
