The President of Mexico ()

Enrique Pea Nieto is the 57th and current president of Mexico. He was born on July 20, 1966 in Atlacomulco, Mexico to Gilberto Enrique Pea del Mazo and Mara del Perpetuo Socorro Ofelia Nieto Snchez. On September 15, 2005, Pea Nieto was sworn in as the Governor of the State of Mexico. He was declared President-Elect after the 2012 Elections. He won the election with 38% of all the votes; his nearest competitor was only 6 points behind him. He assumed office on December 1, 2012.

Mexico has a total population of about 115,296,767 (2012 estimate), making it the eleventh most populous country in the world.

The Capital of Mexico ()

The Capital of Mexico is Mexico City. Mexico City is the seat of federal powers of the Mexican Union. It is also the country's largest city (has a land area of over 1,485 square kilometers) and is the most important political, cultural, educational and financial center in Mexico.

Mexico has the 6th largest electronics industry in the world. They are also the second largest exporter of electronics to the United States, with $71.4 billion worth of electronics exported to the US in 2011.

Mexico's Natural Resources ()

One of Mexico's most valuable natural resources is petroleum, mostly found in the Gulf of Mexico.

Mexico is also ranked in the top 5 producers of silver, bismuth, celestite, and fluorspar. They are also in the Top 15 for mining copper and gold.

The King of Malaysia ()

Malaysian King Sultan Almu'tasimu Billahi Muhibbuddin Tuanku Alhaj Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah is the 27th current King of Kedah. He is 85 years old and born November 28, 1927. He took office December 13, 2011 and is one of the oldest kings to be elected. He is currently married to two wives and has 3 daughters.

Oil Palms make up 90% of Malaysia's planted areas. Another plant that is commonly grown is cocoa tree. These two plants dominate exports from this country.

Industries of Malaysia ()
Electronics and electrical products make 52% of exports. Chemicals and chemical products make up 5% of exports. These manufactured items are make up two thirds of Malaysia. Electronics earning 189.4 billion was earned and chemicals earning 14.38 billion. They also do a little bit in automotives.

Malaysia's Natural Resources ()


Timber, rubber and palm oils are very valuable and a renewable natural resource. Tin and Oil are nonrenewable resources with large deposits of it in Malaysia.

Similarities and Differences of Mexico and Malaysia

Similarities
-Oil is an important natural resource -Electronics is an important industry -Both the Mexican President and the Malaysian King were elected

Differences
-Malaysia has a king, Mexico has a President - Mexico is mainly Catholic and Malaysia consists of Muslims - Mexico is more active in the automobile industry than Malaysia.
