Dear Sir,

This is my application under the Right to Information Act 2005:

Background for seeking information:

1. It is reported that BOB recruited IIM Ahmedabad graduates. Mr Samir Barua, Director, IIM, Ahmedabad
reportedly mentioned that "They were not regular entry-level profiles usually given to students. Students
were taken at senior positions". (http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/India/PSUs-a-big-draw-at-IIM-A-
placements/articleshow/4231382.cms).

2. With a view to confirm factual position on recruitment of IIM graduates / get reference
of the recruitment policy for corrective action, if needed, this information using the
Right to Information Act 2005 is requested in larger public interest. With a view not to
overstretch the resources of the organisation, limited information for only five years
is sought to view the trend.

Information requested is as under:

1. Normal induction level for recruitment of officers in BOB that has been in vogue
during the last five years.

2. Yearwise recruitment of graduates of IIMs for the last five years by BOB till recently
reported recruitment in the year 2009. Please give break up IIM wise (Ahmedabad,
Bangalore, Kolkata, Kozikode, Lucknow, Indore) so far as recruitment by BOB is
concerned.

3. Officer grade in which the IIM graduates have been recruited during the last five
years including 2009.

4. Kindly let me have the recruitment policy reference no. / date using which the officers
in BOB have been recruited during the last five years including the recruitment in the
year 2009. Please provide a copy of it.

5. In case, there is a separate policy for recruiting IIM graduates, kindly let me have the
reference no. / date of such a policy (s). Please provide a copy of it.
