Yemen continues to face a humanitarian crisis, despite recent political gains. More than half of Yemen's population do not have access to safe water, about one million children under age five are acutely malnourished, and more than ten million people are food insecure. In recent months humanitarian agencies have scaled up their response to meet urgent needs.
