My Hijab :) By Yasmine El Madawy

When my hijab is on my head, I feel so good, I feel no dread. I know that I am quite alright I am not a little girl who lives in fright. I know that I am smart and do well on all tests, my hijab does not keep me from doing my best. Anytime I could say whatever I please, my thoughts arent hidden, my mind is at ease. I wear this hijab because I am a Muslim and I can see that Allah SWT told me to walk with dignity. I hold my head high when I walk through my school because I am following the teaching of our Rasul SAAWS. I am proud to be Muslim and want everyone to see that Islam is for everyone and also for me.
