Pressure Systems
A High Pressure is a pressure surrounded by low pressures. It is also referred to as an anticyclone an approximately circular portion of the atmosphere having a relatively high atmospheric pressure and is characterized by good weather. Opposite to it is the Low Pressure, which is a pressure surrounded by high pressures and is referred to as a cyclone.
