Dear children I had to fight for my freedom nut it was worth it , they didnt treat us right . We would got beating from the trainer, I think colonel Robert Is cool but at first he was mean to us only because he wanted to prepare us for war. He believed in us and we didnt let him down event thought sometimes it was hard be we fight and we survive. It has been lot of work fighting but it was great

Sincerely,

Dear wife Im dealing with a lot Specially when possession mobs attacked a union as it passed through Baltimore , as a result of my decision I passed the military draft which required all white men between 20 and 45 to join the army. The draft angered New York and other cities , but it was necessary for me to do so. I wanted the best for the country . At the end of the day I dont have any regrets about the decisions I made _

July 2, 1861 Dear lovely ones It have been painful for me since I migrated to the united states . We can never keep a job for long , one of the job that we were doing is digging dirty canals. Some of the black were our competition for some jobs . Sometimes we worried about the slaves being free because we think if they free we would have to move to north. If the blacks weren't competing against us for jobs maybe we would have help them fight for their freedom.

REFLECTION
Throughout this unit I learned lots of new stuff about the civil war . Ive seen one surprising thing, in a movie that we were watching in class. Which is how colonel 54th were standing up to help the slaves . No matter what happen he stand by their side He help them through everything . Sometimes he would get mad at them only because he wanted to prepare them to go to war. I remember when they went to war their was explosion everywhere but he didnt turn back , he kept fighting until he got shot and die. the people I think who faced the hardest challenges were the slaves because the fought for their freedom but after fighting they didnt have anywhere to live . Also they faced the hardest challenge because they got beating sometimes. I dont think their was a point for going to war if they just solve the problem they had which is north and south.
