As this is done each day, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their Picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in the newsletter.

The Holy Spirit endues believers with supernatural, spiritual power.

Acts 1:8, But you shall receive power when the Holy Ghost is come upon you.

Father God, Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastors Ron and Hope. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed. In Jesus' name, Amen

I am filled with the Holy Ghost, and I speak the Word of God with boldness. Acts 4:31 Yes, Jesus is coming quickly. Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. Revelations 22:20 God will bless those who bless me and curse those who curse me. Genesis 12:3

As Christians, we face a supernatural enemy, the devil. He cannot be beaten with natural weapons. But God has given nine special weapons to every believer to fight our enemy. These powerful weapons were first given to the believers on the day of Pentecost when they received the Holy Spirit. The Greek word used to describe the power of the Holy Spirit is dunamis. Dunamis is the word that inspired Alfred Nobel to name his invention dynamite. Dynamite violently destroys everything around it, blasting away great chunks of rock that could not be moved any other way. So it is a good picture of the way the Holy Spirit can blast away sin, fear, sickness, death and addictions from Gods people who are being held as prisoners by these forces of the devil. The nine weapons called Gifts of the Spirit are listed in our Bibles in I Corinthians 12:8-10.
