Journal entry: First impression My first impression towards SEGi college was not distinct.

During my first visit to SEGi , I felt like I was in a gigantic mosque rather than a college. In my heart I was thinking how am I going to study in a mosque? But thats only the outlook. As I talked to my counselor and I started to get to know people , things started to change. I realized that the quality of the college was not determined by its outlook as we do not judge a book by its cover. Ive been in SEGi for more than a week now and the people here is really friendly and helpful. My counselor , Sunny helped my a lot as I was not a freshmen and I transferred my credits from Taylors University. Besides Sunny, Ms.Samantha gave me a hand as well. She was literally running around the campus during my orientation day to help me check if I could start my classes first because I didnt have my transcript from Taylors with me. I was quite concerned about who will my lecturers be or who will be my class mates. Are they going to be friendly? Will I be able to blend into them? Does the lecturer knows how to teach? All these came across my mind. But now that Im in class, all these concerns just disappear. My classmates are friendly and my lecturers are gratifying.
