Running Hamachi as a service

There are two ways to run Hamachi (Windows version) as a service. Option No. 1 Use 3rd party utilities such as SrvAny to convert Hamachi into a system service. This option requires some understanding of Windows guts, it is free and works reasonably well. It is fully documented here http://forums.hamachi.cc/viewtopic.php?t=5439 Keep in mind that it is essentially a hack as there are some intrinsic differences between Windows applications and services and these cannot always be concealed by utilities such as SrvAny. Option No. 2 Use Hamachi's native support for running as a service. This is a Premium feature, meaning that it requires paid upgrade of Hamachi account. This premium feature can however be test driven by applying evaluation trial license as described here http://premium.hamachi.cc/faq.php#trial In either case the client needs to be updated to the most recent 1.0 version. The links and information on 1.0 releases can be found here http://forums.hamachi.cc/viewforum.php?f=14
