Chuck Herrmann 1/26/09 1) Format: if older format is used, note required Motorola Confidential Do Not Redistribute 2) Title Block: a) Drawing title the same as in PDM b) Drawing number correct (for 6 digit p/ns, need to have either a tab chart or a bold note on the drawing tab 001 shown only c) Tolerance block filled out, first made for, originator w/date, approved w/date d) matl, finish filled out in title block or included in drawing notes e) drawing revision filled out 3) Revision Block: a) Rev. level agree with ECN b) ECN number correct c) INCORP & DATE (mm/dd/yy) filled out d) APPD & DATE (mm/dd/yy) filled out 4) Revision History: a) Description column: Person who does the drawing update needs to put their name in this column b) ECN Memo column: Mechanical engineer who checks that the ECN was incorporated properly needs to list their name in this column. 5) Notes: a) Spelling and grammar b) Consistent with rest of drawing 6) Dimensioning: a) Is origin taken from one single point b) Do mounting holes line up with mating part c) Do mating parts fit together d) Are there double dimensions e) Can any 3 place decimals be 2 place f) Is the part consistently dimensioned g) Use of REF. when double dimensioning is necessary for clarity 7) Multi sheet drawings: a) Drawing number correct b) Revision level correct c) For artwork listed on sheet 2 or sheet x, drawing number, scale, revision level needs to be called out
