    Causes of lung cancers in Nepal Lots of the people in Nepal live in rural areas so they use the wooden sticks for the cooking their food which will exposed them to the smoke of the wood so there is increase in incidence of the lung cancer cases in rural part of Nepal. In the urban areas the numbers of smokers are increasing day by day. Smoking is the main cause of the lung cancer worldwide.

    General statistics of Nepal according to the census 2011 Infant mortality rate= 46/1000 live births Maternal mortality rate= 281/100000 live births Total fertility rate= 2.6 Life expectancy, male= 65, female= 69 Human development index= 0.55 Causes of stillbirths and neonatal deaths The three leading causes of neonatal death were

    1. Birth asphyxia (37%), 2. Severe infection (30%) and 3. Prematurity or low birth weight (15%)
