THE TEACHING ON THE FATHERS MONARCHY AND THE TRINITARIAN CONCEPT

OF COMMUNION IN CURRENT THEOLOGICAL ANTHROPOLOGY

One of the key methodological principles in current theological anthropology is a consistent desire to rely on the
basic dogmatic teachings when examining and solving the current problems of human existence. Among those dogmatic
teachings that form the basis for theological anthropology, the doctrine of the Trinity holds a prominent place because
it is in the Trinitarian dogma that the Christian understanding of God is formulated in the best way one can express it
verbally. This teaching formulates an understanding of God that includes both aspects: that of oikonomia, i.e. with regard
to the Divine action towards the created world, and that of the Holy Trinitys internal existence.
This paper focuses on revealing and analyzing a number of essentially important consequences that arise for theological anthropology from the teaching on the Fathers monarchy (monarcha), as well as the Trinitarian understanding
of communion (koinna).
