Time-served with considerable Mechanical Construction experience: ship repairs / refits from fabrication
through to completion, including factory maintenance, oil rig FPSO refits and installations of hydraulics
pneumatics, tail ends, thrusters, steering gear, pipe work, compressors, valves, main engines (Sulzer,
Merlies and Doxford) and Gas Turbines. Experience covers HVAC, commissioning, power station
shutdowns (Nationwide). Fabrication, installation and work on Oil Rigs as well as petro-chemical plant
shutdowns in time critical situations.

Compression for Export (3 Modules, Solar Gas Turbine Driven Demag Compressors), Gas Compression
Control Building, Flare Scrubber.
• Worked closely with AMEC Commissioning Group.
• Liaised with on Site Designers for all disciplines, the SNEPCO Client Site Team, HSE Department and the
Permit to Work Office.
• Implemented HSE Policy, ensuring safe and environmentally sound methods of working.
• Installed Loss Control Equipment on the FPSO.

EMAC Upstream Oil and Gas, Liverpool (Bonga Project)

• Operational Management: organised availability of resources (labour, plant, equipment, tools and
materials), from design to hand-over: installed equipment through to Mechanical Completion (in the
form of Field Test Records) .
• Daily resolutions of all construction related problems.
• Interfaced with representatives from other construction sites (especially regarding “Carrying over
Work”) and major equipment vendors’ representatives. Liaised with all other disciplines involved with
the construction on site.
• Wrote permits to work on petro-technics (ISSOW) system, method statements, risk assessments, and
field test reports (FTR).
• Preserved and Maintained all stored and installed equipment.
• Daily discussions with Supervision to ensure all work was being efficiently progressed.
• Identified and requisitioned materials.
• Ensure all work was mechanically completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and
procedures as part of the Completions Procedures.
