Installation of Storage Agent.

Run command on AIX OS prompt # lsdev Cc tape to check tape library installed or not on OS (rmt0, rmt1, smc0) # lscfg vpl rmt0, rmt1, smc0 to check drive serial number. If drive and library is correct then start SAN Agent Installation. If not then follow below steps. # rmdev dl rmt0, rmt1, smc0 to remove drive and library. # cfgmgr v to detect correct hardware. SAN Agent Installation Copy SAN Agent installable in respective path like /software Go to inside of /software Extract .tar extension to normal condition. And run command smitty installp Type [ . ] in software destination. Press F4 to search installable. Select .rtc extension files to be installed. Press enter Change I accept License NO to YES Press Enter Yes confirm and Enter Wait for success massage. After get success massage. Make change in dsm.opt file > Default parameters Rename devconfig.txt to devconfig.out Go to server site and open ISC Open Policy Domain Client nodes Create client node for SAN Agent SAN_NODE01 Modify SAN Agent node Go to Select Action Click on Enable LAN free option

Follow all steps to configure LTO Serial Number and LTO PATH After finished LTO SERIAL NUMBER & LTO PATH Go to SAN Agent Client Open new terminal and go below path # /usr/Tivoli/tsm/storage/bin Run below command # dsmsta setstoeageserver myname=nodename [for storage agent] mypassword= password [for storage Agent] myhladdress=NODE IP Address servername=name of server ITSM01 Serverpassword= password of server ITSM123 hladdress=TSM Server IP lladdress=TSPPORT 1500 >> and press ENTER *** It will ask password of SAN Agent node and Storage Agent will connect to TSM server. DSMSTA command will start SAN Agent Service.
