How to create that effect in Pictarts

Illustrated tutorial by Jeso

1. Open Pictarts and click Photo orange button.

2. Click Gallery (or the source that you want) and select the BACKGROUND image.

3. Thats our background image, for this example. Use the one that you want.

4. In the tools list, roll it to the left and select Add Photo

5. Click Gallery (or the source that you want) and select the front (foreground) image.

6. Wait the image to load.

7. Thats our foreground image. Apply a good effect (I suggest Vintage) and click button in the top-right window corner.

8. Slide all the borders to 0 and click again.

9. Set position and size for the image as you want. Use the four circles in the images corners to set the size and drag the image itself to set the position. Dont click !

10. Set the image opacity as you want and click .

11. Click Add Photo again.

12. Click Gallery and select THE SAME front/foreground image again.

13. Set the same effect and click .

14. Set all the borders to 0 and click .

15. Lets now invert the image. Hold the bottom-right circle on and drag it to the left. Do not click .

16. Our image is now inverted, like in a mirror. Do not click .

17. Set image size and position, beside the first image. Do not click .

18. Set the image transparency/opacity. No need to be the same than in the previous image, but its good if you can make it as similar as possible. Then, click .

19. Now we need to add the text. Roll the toolkit to the left.

20. Click Text

21. Write the text in UPPERCASE (yes, its wrong in the image) and click Fill white square to select a new color.

22. Select black color.

23. Note that Ive changed the text to uppercase. Click .

24. Set text size and position as you want. Dont click .

25. Set text opacity as you want. Yes, click now.

26. In the toolkit, click Tool and then Crop.

27. Crop the image, by selecting the area that you want, only, by dragging the big square. Click .

28. Click .

29. Done! Click save icon.

30. Write the filename that you want, and save in the folder where you want. In format, I suggest JPEG, due to low image size. Click OK.
