EP Event Proposal Introduction Are you passionate about physics?

Have you tried to do crazy stuff with basic phy sics? Then here is an event just for you!! An event that tests the participants aptitude and his/her knowledge in physics. General Rules 1.A team should have a minimum of 2 members and a maximum of 3 members are allow ed 2. Students can participate irrespective of their branch(cross branch teams are preferred) 3. Inter-college teams are also encouraged. Rounds Round 1 A preliminary round, to test the participants understanding of the various concep ts of fundamental physics and engineering. Round 2 Shortlisted participants from the first round will compete in round 2 that tests your analytical skills and experimental temperament. Teams will be presented with certain challenges/tasks which they have to accompl ish with the help of their knowledge/interpretation of the principles of physics . It tests the ability to reciprocate theory to hands-on physics as they undergo a series of challenges and tasks. Note: All the materials required for the task will be provided during the event do not carry personal components Round 3 Problem statements will be given 2 hours prior to the event and the teams have t o find a solution and present it. The presentation should contain the solution, supporting arguments, assumptions, references and so on.

Judging Criteria 1. The teams with highest scores in the first round will qualify for the second round. 2. In the second round the teams which complete the tasks first will be prefered . Creativity,innovation and precision will be appreciated. 3. In the final round the teams with better reasoning,logic and justification of the arguments presented will earn higher points 4. The teams with the highest total (all the rounds put together) will be declar ed the winner 5.In case of any discrepancy the descision of the event co-ordinators will be fi nal.
