Artifact Description In this artifact, I researched different ways we attain learning. Articles that were interesting and related to my teaching field are attached as well as an abstract I wrote for each and a reflection. Background of Artifact
I feel it is important to stay on top of current research pertaining to my classroom. Any new evidences of how students learn, or the different ways we influence student learning is important to me. As I grow more professionally, I intend to continue researching new theories and the implications they will have in my classroom. I am a teacher because I love my students. I am a teacher because I love science. Staying on top of current research like brain-based learning and critical thinking will allow me to better understand how my students think and how to more effectively tech them science.

Reflection on Learning Demonstrated in this Work Sample


From completing this assignment, I have learned so much about the way students learn, and how important it is to stay up to date with current research. This artifact will affect my classroom by allowing me to implement what I have learned to increase success with my students. I have benefited from this artifact by gaining knowledge on new research that is applicable to my classroom.
