Artifact Description
This artifact was created in EDCI 5360 in order to demonstrate my knowledge of a variety of instructional models and how they may change when technology is introduced into the classroom.

This artifact demonstrates knowledge of two Middle Childhood/Generalist Standard(s). IV. Engaging the Science Learner Technology is engaging to students V. Sustaining a Learning Environment Using technology aids in the learning environment

Background of Artifact
This artifact was created with 21st century learning in mind. Technology is the future, and is now in our classrooms. Student can search the web for any question they have, or information they want to learn. Some teachers are resistant to letting technology in the classroom because it will conflict with current systems put in place. However, we should foster the idea if adding technology to the classroom. What a wonderful idea! We can change the way we think about education to include technology in our teaching to better benefit students.

Reflection on Learning Demonstrated in this Work Sample


From completing this assignment, I have learned how beneficial technology in the classroom can be. In addition, the ways in which we teach must also evolve to fit the needs of learners in this technology-driven world. This artifact has affected my classroom by helping me implement lessons that are more technology based. I have benefited from this artifact by learning ways to integrate technology into my lessons.
