I just received a call from the BU Athletic Director indicating that the BU President has accepted an invitation to join the Patriot League. For those of us who have been in contact with BU, this is a complete surprise as no mention of any other options were ever mentioned. Mike Lynch (AD) said that this was something that just developed over the last several days and that BU was very interested in the academic association with the Patriot League. We will continue to explore institutions in the North.
