On July the 25th, Qaasim Ebrahim migrated from the United States of America to Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia. He was born and brought in USA and lived with his parents and 2 brothers. He is the youngest in his family and indeed, the most ambitious. His parents describe their son as passionate, driven and independent. His parents often said that once Qaasim had set his mind on a goal, he would never give up until he achieved it. His passion of gaining an Islamic education had driven him to Riyadh because he felt that he could only truly gain authentic Islamic knowledge from Saudi Arabia. Qaasim is currently pursuing a _____________degree in ISLAM??? He is currently in his second semester of his studies and so far enjoying himself. He feels as though he is on the path of achieving all the goals he has set. Qaasim aspires to work in the path of Allah and ultimately become a scholar of Islam. Aside from Qaasims studies, he is living with 3 other class fellows on campus. They are all a good support network for him. Indeed, he would feel lonely if none of them were around as he misses his family and especially his mothers hearty meals. Although, Qaasim enjoys discovering all kinds of foods, he loves all Indian cuisines. One of his housemates is Indian which is great for Qaasim as he is treated to Indian food when it is his housemates turn to cook. Qaasim has 2 years remaining in his education. He intends to visit his family back in the USA upon the completion of his second semester. He cannot wait to finish his education and embark on the next chapter of his life..
