MANDATORY:

4-H General Club Leader Enrollment Meeting

It is that time of year again, and as we begin another 4-H year together, we need to make sure that we are all on the same page. Preparing todays youth to address increasingly complex sets of global problems has a renewed sense of urgency, and 4-H is uniquely positioned to meet the challenge. It is our responsibility as stewards of the 4-H legacy to leverage every available asset in the service of our mission. We need to focus on quality, continual learning and innovation, the foundations of Extension. This one hour mandatory meeting will cover Child Safety Training, re-enrolling or enrolling your members & leaders online, proper use of the 4-H Name and Emblem, and general Benton-Franklin 4-H Program reminders. The General 4-H Club Leader (a.k.a. Main Leader) MUST ATTEND one of these meetings in order for their club to be eligible for participation in the Benton-Franklin 4-H Program for the 2013-2014 year. All new clubs must also have a leader attend one of these trainings. Do not be late for the meeting or it WILL NOT count. Please be on time! ***IF none of these dates and times will work for your schedule, then it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to call or email Natalie Kinion and arrange for a meeting time that will work. nkinion@wsu.edu 509-545-3511 MEETINGS WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE AFTER DECEMBER 18, 2013* *(except for new leaders & new clubs enrolling after Jan 1, 2014) At WSU Franklin County Extension: 404 W.
