1. Setting Local Office Information (SET INTROFF)
This task sets the local office information, including the country code and GT of the HLR. Note that only one record can be saved in the Local Office Information table.

4. Adding a VLR Type (ADD VLRTYP)
This task adds a visitor location register (VLR) type. The VLR Type table determines whether a VLR area, to which a subscriber of the local HLR roams, is an international roaming area, a domestic roaming area, or the local area.
Example: ADD VLRTYP: VLRPREFIX="1111", VLRNAME="VLR1", TYPE=LOCALDOMESTIC;

This task adds a serving GPRS support node (SGSN) type. The SGSN Type table defines the roaming type of a general packet radio service (GPRS) subscriber. It indicates an SGSN is in local, domestic, or international roaming in relation to the local HLR. Example: ADD SGSNTYP: SGSNREFIX="1111",NAME="SGSN1",TYPE=LOCALDOMESTIC;

6. Setting MAP Service Parameters (SET MAPSERV)

This task sets the mobile application part (MAP) service parameters.
The MAP Service Parameter table includes the following information: Supported MAP version
Parameters related to call forwarding

This task adds a number forbidden to be forwarded (in a
full-matching way) to the Forbidden Forwarded-to Number table.
For example, add it to this table if the number 112 cannot

be registered as an FTN.

Local office type, network type, and local SPC
SMU local office information

Tips and Precautions for Data Configuration

During the data configuration, pay attention to the following points:
Configure and check the IMSI Area Code table and the Called Number Analysis table first.
Unless required, set Forwarded-to area limitation and Number structure limitation to NORESTRICTION in the MAP Configuration Parameters table to avoid registration failure.
