Quiz/In-Class Work: There will be quizzes and/or in-class work assignments during class. If you arrive 5 minutes after the quiz has started, you will NOT be allowed to take the quiz. There will be NO MAKE-UP quiz and/or NO in-class work assignments will be given for ANY REASON. Calculator: Electric Devices: The use of a calculator is NOT permitted.

DO NOT PUT ANY ELECTRIC DEVICE(s) ON YOUR DESK . You will receive no credit for using/texting a cell phone during class and will be asked to leave. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
There will be four (or five?) mid-term exams (100 pts each) and one final exam, worth 150 points. There will be NO MAKE-UP exam given without any reasonable documentation. Exam dates are to be determined by the pace of the class. Notice will be given one week prior to exam. Homework assignments are expected to be turned in on days of exams with no exceptions. Homework has to show all work and must be stapled. Homework that is unstapled or LATE will not be accepted. * Homework assignments will be posted on my website.

Attendance Policy: Attendance is mandatory. If you miss class more than THREE times starting after the 1st day of class, or excessively late without any documentation, or disturb the class, you will be automatically DROPPED from the course.

The total score for the course will be roughly the following:

Academic Honestly:

Nothing short of complete academic honesty is acceptable. If it is clear, either after the original test or during the retest that cheating took place, the appropriate college officials will be contacted and you will receive F for the semester grade. The consequences can be very serious. Please refer to the section on Academic Honestly in the college catalog.
