The tank (liquid retaining portion) is designed as uncracked section for water pressure, live load and
selfweightofdifferentpartsasperprovisionsofIS3370&IS456.
The tank support system is designed using working stress method as per provisions of IS 456
considering wind load as per provisions of IS 875 Part3 and seismic load as per provisions of IS
1893.
