Vocabulary Activities The purpose of this activity is to show understanding of the words.

You will have a choice of how to present your understanding of the Science vocabulary. These activities vary from unit to unit. Some of the choices include, but are not limited to: Booklet: Create a booklet with a page for each word in the unit. Each page must include the quizlet definition, a definition in your own words, a colored picture, and a 10 word sentence using the word. Power Point: (A slide for each word using complete quizlet definition, a definition in your own words, a colored picture, and a 10 word sentence using the word.) Prezi Presentation:(using complete quizlet definition, a definition in your own words, a colored picture, and a 10 word sentence using the word.) Animoto video : (concise definition, meaningful picture....be careful to represent the word well, since words are limited.) Fill in the blank worksheets: students comprise a worksheet using all vocabulary words, as well as an answer key. Crossword Puzzle: definitions & "fill in the blank" sentences are the clues to the puzzle. This may be done on the computer, or on graph paper. Answer key must be included.
