Postmaster General, Dr Enock Kinara is turning around the operations of PCK. The PMG has set a target of improving service delivery in the next four years as Posta embarks on a journey to increase revenues.
The PMG has prioritized the need for diversification. “If you look at our 2013/16 strategic plan, we have set targets to grow the business and the revenue base to Sh20 billion in the next four years. “The management is committed to growing the revenue base in the next for four years and I tell our competitors to ‘watch this space’.
We are developing an infrastructure for all,” says Kinara. The strategic plan was launched on July 28th 2013. On an interview Business hum the Postmaster general concluded, “It is all in our core theme of service delivery and it is part of our agenda to grow the organisation with a profit-centred business mind that will be actualised through a collective commitment by all the stakeholders,” CEO Kinara told Business Hub. To move from the core postal business, the corporation has partnered with various organisations including KPLC, Post Bank, Multi Choice and Faulu Kenya, a move that the CEO believes underlines their business growth strategies.
