Classroom Management Plan

Procedures: When students enter the classroom, they will immediately take their seats. Designated classroom helpers will do their daily assigned tasks while class role is being taken. Class will begin promptly 5 minutes after arrival to class unless a warm-up has been assigned to do, in which case, class will begin 8 minutes after arriving to class. When the alarm goes off signaling the start of class, students will be prepared to begin. On lab days, students will receive further instructions after the start of class and then they will begin the lab. Students will work until the bell unless instructed to stop to clean their work areas and return any supplies that they may have used. Students will raise their hands and ask for permission for anything they need to leave their desk for (throwing away trash, sharpening a pencil, using the bathroom, etc.).

Rules: Students will stay in their assigned seats at all times. Students will maintain the school dress code while in class. Students will not use inappropriate language in class. Students will keep their hands and their feet to themselves at all times. Students will not talk during classroom instruction. Students will not take or damage anything that is not theirs which includes classroom materials that have been provided for them. Students will not surf the internet or listen to music without teachers permission.
