Concepts of Geography 1. Location is the main concept that will be used to determine the geosphere phenomenon.

The concept of location is divided into: a. Absolute location, location by latitude and longitude location. b. Relative Location, location based on around the environment such as Bromo in Probolinggo East Java. 2. Distance, is the length between the two places. Consisting of: a. Absolute distance, the unit of length which is measured by kilometer. b. Relative distance, the distance measured by travel time. 3. Accessibility, concerns how to reach a place, what the facilities are used, or what the communication tools are used and etc. 4. Patterns, distribution of phenomena geosphere such as river stream patterns, settlement patterns, folds, faults and etc. 5. Morphology, showing the form of the earth as a result of endogenous and exogenous power that make the lowlands, highlands and mountains. 6. Agglomeration, a grouping of various human activities in adapting to the environment, such as settlements. 7. Usability values, the benefits provided by a region of the earth in living things, not the same in all people. 8. Interdependence interaction, the relationship space between each other, such as the interaction between the village and the town.
