Count It All Joy

James 1:2-3 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

WORD by Mukisa Emma

Challenges always come to every Christian but the difference is how they react to these challenges, some choose to grumble and complain, while others choose to rejoice in the midst of the challenge. The latter category of Christian will overcome the challenge quickly because they take that challenge as an opportunity for them to be promoted; and thats what happens. Those who choose to complain and grumble however, will take a long time facing the same challenge. The fact that they complain and grumble magnifies the challenge instead of magnifying the God who overcomes the challenges. We should know that like in any other course where tests are given to prove whether students should be promoted to another level, faith in our Christian walk must also be tested in order for any Christian to be promoted to the next level. The truth is that God cannot bring challenges that are beyond your ability to overcome. (1Cor 10:13) Thats why a wise Christian chooses to say like Joshua and Caleb: They are only bread for us (Num 14:9) because they know that every challenge that comes their way is for them to overcome, and so they count it all joy when trials come; thats what makes the difference in their faith walks.

CONFESSION
I know who I am in Christ Jesus and I know that no challenge is too big for me to overcome, every challenge is bread for me to eat, and I eat them all one by one. Thats why I rejoice when challenges come my way; because I know that Greater is He who is in me. Glory to God!
