The ILS Kite is amongst the most popular of the unique ILS PQF'S. It can be used in its entirety or as a base for any specific part of the PQF. Make use of the ILS Kite worksheets when coaching groups or individuals. The ILS Kite contains the following elements which can be included or excluded depending on your coaching needs at the time: Vertical bar = traditional coaching path representing the path from where the coachee is now, to where they want to be (long term goal) at the top of the bar. The vertical bar has spaces for you to write any milestones determined in the session. Step 1 Elements = other key elements of the contacting Step 1 can be recorded in the various spaces allocated on the ILS Kite worksheet. The worksheet becomes a great way to summarize, record and measure progress. Crossbar = ILS coaching specializes in coaching individuals and companies to transform their inner obstacles into inner strength. We do this by combining the best of traditional world class coaching, with our trademark cutting edge processes. The crossbar represents the inner obstacles that block and sabotage the path to successfully reaching the goal. The essential premise behind working with the kite crossbar is to transform the destructive tension and conflict of the polarity opposition into constructive energy put towards attaining the goal. The crossbar in individuals represents an inner conflict within the persons mind. One aspect of the pair is judged as "bad" and the opposite aspect polarized against it. A pendulum inner conflict then ensues, robbing the person of the energy they need to move forward towards their goal. A kite cannot fly if the crossbar is unbalanced, so we coach the polarity to reframe the judged negative aspect and transform the tension into constructive energy. By doing this the individual is able to more easily transcend the tension and rise to meet their goal. The crossbar in group dynamics and meetings represents group tension or conflict. Groups can then divide into polarized dynamics that waste time and energy. Each side tries to prove that it is right and the other wrong. By coaching the group crossbar the tension can be transformed and the group aligned towards the common goal. We combine several PQFS and other coaching methods to transform inner obstacles. These include:
