    FINAL CUT PRO LESSON

    NEW PROJECT SETUP for FCP

    Open FCP. Go to FILE on top menu bar. Scroll down & choose Close Project.

    Go to FINAL CUT PRO on top menu bar. Choose System Settings. Choose Set at the top & locate your project scratch disk and select. Choose Set at the top & locate your project scratch disk and select for: Waveform Cache Thumbnail Cahce Autosave Vault Hit OK.

    FINAL CUT PRO LESSON Go to FINAL CUT PRO on top menu bar & choose Easy Setup. In the drop down menu by Use select XDCAM EX 1080p24 VBR. Hit Setup

    Go to FINAL CUT PRO on top menu bar & choose User Preferences. In the top left corner of the menu that appears, set Levels of Undo to 20 actions. Hit OK.

    Go to FILE on top menu bar. Select New Project. Go to FILE on top menu bar. Select Save Project As. Name the FCP project using the naming convention: LastName_ProjectName. Select the project folder you created on the Desktop. Do not select any of the subfolders within. Hit Save.
