SOIL VISION

SoilVision is a knowledgebased database software system for the estimation and management of soil properties.

The ability to represent soil property functions for the calculation of vapor extraction rates has also been added to SoilVision version 3.0. Users may now calculate volumetric air content or air permeability of a soil at varying suction levels.

Enhancements have been added to SoilVision version 3.0 to meet data management needs on a corporate level. The ability to manage borehole, piezometer, and geochemical data make

SoilVision the ideal corporate solution. SoilVision is also the only commercially available database system capable of managing unsaturated soils data. Standardized laboratory reporting has been added to streamline office procedures.

Version 3.0 conforms to ASTM and other industryaccepted standards for the representation of sieve analysis, oedometer and isotropic triaxial consolidation tests, shear box and triaxial shear tests, modified and standard Proctor compaction tests, and soil-water characteristic, shrinkage, and permeability data. For the mid-sized firm, version 3.0 allows the development of a corporate database installed on a central server.

The results of soil tests may be entered in the laboratory and are then available to the rest of the office for further analysis. For large, multi-office firms, version 3.0 makes use of synchronization to ensure your data is current at each office location. The open-database format of version 3.0 also ensures that the value of your corporate data will never be lost. The ability to handle English or Metric units also offers more flexibility.
