Methodology
1. All Gaskets bundles/ lots shall be visually inspected for any physical damages as per Material code, size & colour coding. 2. Result recording of quality decision w.r.t the acceptance of Gaskets recommendations for scrapping shall be done in Inspection report (EPCMD-2QM00FMTGE084). 3. The Gaskets declared as non-usable & marked for scrapping/ disposal action shall be properly quarantined by moving the same to designated area for avoiding any mix-up. 4. Colour coding requirement in accordance with Doc No. 10080-1-SS-PP005 shall be done for all accepted Gaskets.

Methodology
1. Check surface of all plates after manual cleaning for removal of loose scales. 2. All plates shall be visually inspected for any surface defect as in condition and the accepted plates are stamped with Inspector Stamp. 3. Plates observed rusted and pitted shall be cleaned and checked thickness for usability and shall recommend for degrading/ scrapping accordingly.
