1) FEEDING PROCESS
Waste water and solid waste from the slaughter house is the main input for the biogas plant. It is transferred daily to the hydrolisis tanks of the biogas plant

2) ANAEROBIC TREATMENT
Anaerobic digestion is a series of processes in which microorganism break down organic material in the absence of oxygen (anaerobic). As part of a waste treatment system, anaerobic digestion reduces the emission of methane gas into the atmosphere.

HYDROLISIS:
Complex carbon chains (carbohydrates, proteins and fats) in the organic materials will be decomposed into lower organic compounds (amino acid, sugar and fatty acids), which is the main feedstock of the methane producing bacteria's.

DIGESTER:
The digester is an anaerobic (airtight) system in which the methanogene bacteria have the best living conditions (37C) to produce methane out of organic material. All remaining constituents from the hydrolysis will be transferred to biogas.

OVERFLOW:
Anaerob digested effluent which can already be used as highly nutrient fertilizer.

3) AEROBIC TREATMENT
The aerobic treatment system produces a high quality secondary effluent, which can be further sterilized after the anaerobic treatment and used for surface irrigation. Through adding oxygen into the system the BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand) and the fecal coliform bacteria can be reduced to an amount which is not effecting the environment and the ground water.

4) BIOGAS USE
