HISTORY OF BEREAN BELIEVERS FELLOWSHIP INC OUTREACH

After praying for more than three (3) years, the Lord finally reveals His plan to open the first outreach ministry of Berean Believers Fellowship, Inc. (BBFI) through its Associate Pastor Crispulo Cris C. Ablang. The Lord impresses His marvelous plan through the heart of Pastor Cris to reach out his immediate community in Francisco Homes. Pastor Cris shared this burden to Rev. Ronaldo Matuguina and Pastor Jonathan Zalun, the Senior Pastor and Associate Pastor of BBFI, respectively. Upon hearing this, Pastor Matuguina and Pastor Zalun expresses their gratitude and support on this new ministry. With this, the ministry outreach launched its first gathering in the modest backyard of Ablang Residences last January 8, 2012. The outreach started its very first Bible study last January 15, 2012 with 12 attendees

As the Bible Study continues on the following weeks, the attendees suggested having a Worship Service in the same location last March 4, 2012. The formal Worship Service was started on March 11, 2012 with 20 attendees. Then on March 25, 2012, Rev. Ramon De Jesus, a Senior Pastor of an Evangelical Church from Toronto, Canada, was invited as a guest speaker in the ministry outreach wherein he led the attendees to prayer for acceptance. Fourteen (14) of them prayed to receive Jesus Christ at that moment as their personal Lord and Savior. Following the fruitful evangelistic message, Rev. De Jesus once again invited to speak before the outreach ministry last April 15, 2012. Four (4) more individuals prayed to receive Jesus Chris

Last September 8, 2012, the Kids Ministry was launched that aims to address the values formation of children within the community that aims to develop their values and respect for their parents. The ministry started with 12 young kids. Then on the following week, September 15, 2012, the number of kid attendees significantly increased to sixty (60). Given the number of kids, two classes were set up for ages 4 to 7 years old and 8 to 14 years old through the guidance of Sis. Connie Mahinay and Pastor Zalun, respectively. This is also the launch of Feeding Program sponsored by Convoy of Hope. This ministry has continued until today and shows a significant progress in the attitude of the kids towards their parents and other family members.

The impact of this ministry spread out to the other people that lead to the start of another Bible Study in the adjacent community. Sis Charry Ablang saw the need and hunger of the mothers and women of the said community to know more about Jesus Christ. And this leads to the start of another ministry, the Ladies Ministry, which focuses on encouraging the women by sharing the Love of Christ and His wonderful plan to them. As the Lord continually blesses the ministry outreach, Thanksgiving Party was organized to celebrate Gods faithfulness and the coming of His Son Jesus Christ last December 2012. Gifts and used clothes were distributed among the members. Through Gods faithfulness, the ministry celebrated its first anniversary last January 13, 2013 entitled Waiting For The Harvest We sow the seed- God Provides the Harvest.-Mark 4:28-29.. The theme encourages every leaders and members of the outreach to continually walk with the Lord and be involved in the work of His ministry to experience individual and community transformation.

Last summer, Pistang pangbata was conducted that features the traditional Filipino games to instill the Filipino culture among kids through games and sports. Also, Daily Vacation Bible School was conducted from May 14 to 18, 2013 entitled Sidekick Reloaded to continually develop the values of the kids that are founded in the Biblical perspective. God continually provided for these activities that were attended by 30 kids from the community. Today, with Gods sovereign grace, the ministry outreach already reached its goals within six (6) months. The accountability between members is one of the priorities of the ministry leaders. Visitation, discipleship and prayer meetings are being conducted regularly to instill fellowship, accountability and transformation through discipleship among its members. More activities are being prepared to cater the need of the community kids, mother and fathersuch as parenting guidance, medical mission, more values formation for the kids and more practical Bible study lessons that will change the perspective of the members of the community that will truly bring change in the society. The ministry outreach is now being led by the following individuals: Officers of BBFI outreach Ptr. Crispulo C. Ablang Res. Pastor Ptr. Johnathan A. Zalun- Teacher Sis Rosario T.
