Total Price Escalation = Vm + Ve 1. For Mechanical price escalation: Vm = W x 0.6 x (Si Sio)/Sio Where, Vm = Variation in price due to escalation in mechanical components. W = Pending Order Price Si = Wholesale price index for Flat Steel as per the Ministry of Industry & Commerce, Government of India during the period when price escalation is requested. Sio = Wholesale price index for Flat Steel as per the Ministry of Industry & Commerce, Government of India during the period when order was finalised.

2. For Electrical price escalation: Ve = W x 0.4 x (Ei Eio)/Eio Where, Ve = Variation in price due to escalation in mechanical components. W = Pending Order Price Ei = Wholesale price index for Electrical Accessories, Wires, Cables etc steel as per the Ministry of Industry & Commerce, Government of India during the period when price escalation is requested. Eio = Wholesale price index for Electrical Accessories, Wires, Cables etc as per the Ministry of Industry & Commerce, Government of India during the period when order was finalised.
