International Disaster Reduction Day is October 8th

In recognition of International Disaster Reduction Day, InterAction’s working


group is holding a seminar called “Safer Communities through Disaster Risk
Reduction: The Cost (and Savings) of doing Business.” Tools for cost-benefit
analysis will be explored with a focus largely on economic implications of
disaster risk reduction.
