    An anti-dieseling system is necessary to prevent excess fuel combustion after an ignition is switched off, known as dieseling. This can occur due to high engine idling speeds, carbon deposits, low octane fuel, overheating, improper spark plugs or air-fuel mixture settings, or stuck throttles. The anti-dieseling system uses a solenoid that cuts fuel supply when the ignition is switched off, stopping extra fuel consumption and making the engine more economical, environmentally friendly, and hygienic.

    WHY IT IS NECESSARY :--An SI Engine sometimes continues to run for a very small period even after the ignition

    is switched off. this phenomenon is called dieseling. And due to this an extra amount of fuel is burnt. To avoid this situation an anti dieseling system is used. Dieseling may take place due to following reasons:-1). Engine idling speed is set to high. 2). Increase in compression ratio due to carbon deposits. 3). Inadequate or low octane rating. 4). Engine overheating. 5). Too high spark plug heat range. 6). Incorrect adjustment of idle air fuel mixture. 7). Sticking of throttle. 8). Requirement of tune up of engine. 9). Oil entry into the cylinder.

    In this system we use an anti-dieseling solenoid system. When ignition switch is on. it produces a magnetic field and due to this a force is applied on the pin. It moves in outward direction. And it opens the fuel supply. And when the switch is off, the reverse process occurs.

    it stops the extra fuel consumption. So : 1) Most economical 2) Most environmental 3) And mainly most HYGENIC
