Missing back plates inside box columns @ 4 corners

Is these sleeves in AIC scope ? Missing groove at columns corners

one plate (for top and bottom of the box instead of 2 plates)

as tapered box will be shop welded to box column in order to reduce welding process as possible kindly check AIC proposal . in CESEC model (red and blue plate are separate plates)

can we make this type of tapered box as 4 sides or (as shown ) or plate separation made for technical purpose
