Dear Chairman Obey and Ranking Member Lewis:

I am requesting funding for the San Diego County District Attorney Gang and
Drug Crime Investigation and Prosecution program in fiscal year 2010.

The entity to receive funding for this project is the San Diego County District
Attorney's Office, located at: 330 West Broadway, San Diego, CA 92123.

Funding would provide critical resources needed by the District Attorney's office
to investigate and prosecute gang-related crime and drug crime. This project
deserves federal funding because it is an essential government responsibility to
stop cross-border drug and gang crimes in San Diego County.
