Fashion Show Event: Roses Are Red Introduction We are pleased to invite you to Roses Are Red, our first event since forming this lifechanging non-profit organization. This event is going to be huge for our girls! We are as busy as weve ever been and loving every minute of seeing these young women achieve the life of their dreams. To show them how proud we are, we chose to make them the faces of this organization that was created to support them. We will be putting on a fashion show to showcase pieces of clothing that the girls in our program have made themselves. The guests will wear all white and theme for the fashion show will be red. The pieces that will be seen in this event include red dresses, rompers, blouses, and shoes, all designed by the women in our program. We will have five models and each model will walk twice wearing a different outfit each time. Leading up to the main event our guests will be able to take pictures on the red carpet and will be able to purchase the pictures to take home. After the fashion show, we will have Miquela Romero, a graduate of our program and a fellow volunteer, give a brief explanation of what F.A.R. does and what the organization means to her. Following the speech, the guests will be served drinks and snacks and will be able to view and purchase the garments shown on live models throughout the venue. The proceeds from the fashion show will go towards building a living area for these young women to have safe and loving environment to grow in. Our mission for this event is to raise awareness in the community about violence and abuse while celebrating our girls achievements and talent.
