I. Objectives At the end of 1 hour discussion, 75% of the students are expected to: a. define sentence; b.

express ideas about people and events clearly in the story; c. construct well-formed sentences; and d. write a personal reflection on a given topic.

Material : book, paper and pen

III. INTRODUCTION
The teacher will let the students :

Work with a partner to unlocked and give the best meaning for each difficult terms/ words from the passage. Read the story silently about Amos and Boris. Answer the following questions.

These are the questions :


1 . The characters in the fable represent people. What kind of people do Amos and Boris represent? 2. What is the theme of the selection?

3. Give the moral of the story.

4. Do you agree with the lesson taught? Why or why not? 5. Could the incidents described in the story happen in real life? Cite instances to prove your answer.

IV. INTERACTION

At this stage, the teacher will let the students write their personal reflection individually.

How do feel about the story?

What part of the story do you like most? Explain.

Afterwards, the teacher will let the students share their answers to the class.

V. INTEGRATION

The teacher group the students into five and they will do the assigned activity.

A. Group 1 will make a poster of the theme of the story.

B. Group 2 and 3 will make a comic strip of the fable Amos and Boris. C. Group 4 and 5 will make a diorama of the final scene of Amos and Boris. They will have a week to finish this.
