ICT Reflection:

In ICT this week and a bit of last week, I've Learnt all about our new section; Effects Of using ICT. From the hazards- which are accidents in the work place, a chance of being injured- to the Health Risks- Things that may go wrong in a long period of time, things that happen in a long period of time. In this section we will be covering; Social Effects of ICT/ Health Effects of ICT/ Safety issues with ICT/ Hacking and Hackers/ Malware and Viruses/ Software Copyright/ Internet Developments/ Internet Use Issues

We went over Health Effects and I learnt how to prevent Eye-Strain and Back, Repetitive Strain Injury and Neck Injuries. Then we were assigned to complete a ICT and Employment task which made me think about what things were like back in the old days and compare them to how they are now, they were completely different to how society works now. How nowadays for most job qualifications you would need to have training for whatever course you do in life for example; if you were to become a graphics designer you would need to know how to use certain softwares and have background knowledge of more than one software type. For our Homework I wasnt as clear on how to do it and which questions to ask my Nan, I think I asked her some wrong things but as I compared it to others some of my answers were adequate .
