A)

This project did satisfy our aims because we investigated the different hydrogen production methods and conducted water splitting by electrolysis experiments in order to calculate mass of hydrogen produced per unit of electrical energy ( 7*10-7 g/ J). According to that data, we can calculate that we need 1.4GJ to produce 1kg of hydrogen. Therefore, we can discover how much electrical energy per unit mass of hydrogen produced in hydrogen cell. In overall, our general efficiency of this process is quite low ( around 10% )

B) Our data is reliable because our mass was measured by taking 10 different energy inputs and it resulted in a linear graph of mass of Hydrogen produced against energy input. Although there are some small random errors when an observer read the scale in the tube every 5ml we think that small errors are negligible The result allows us to draw the conclusion that our project is valid.
