A 3D printing lab, exhibition and pop-up shop Object: Australian Design Centre and Courtesy of the Artist (COTA) have joined forces to present the What, Why and How of 3D printing. Student Workshops If you have a 3D printer at your school or are thinking of getting one bring your Year 9,10, and 11 students to one of our 3-hour workshops in November and December. Students will have the opportunity to learn about 3D printing and its application for the future, watch a demonstration and create their own design for printing. Workshops will be suitable for both beginners and the more experienced.

Cost: $300 per workshop with a maximum of 15 students in a group. Time: 10am1pm Available Dates: November 5, 6, 7, 14 19, 20, 21 26, 27, 28 December 17, 18, 19 Booking Form is attached

An afternoon at Object Gallery for Teachers Not enough of you to go around? Come to Object Gallery to scan and print a miniature model of your head; learn about 3D printing and how Visual Arts, Visual Design and Design and Technology teachers have applied this innovative technology in their classrooms? Hannah Chapman (Newington College), Melissa Silk (Sydney International Grammar School) and Angus Deveson will show you how you can utilize 3D printing in creative ways and what programs to use. Join us for a glass of bubbly, an opportunity to purchase some beautiful 3D printed jewellery and homewares and a chance to scan and print a miniature model of your head.
